Our Celestial Globe below (at least a slightly dark version), will appear in Martin Scorcese's upcoming movie from the book 'The invention of Hugo Cabret'. The globe we constructed was made in two halves so that a motor could be inserted which rotated a planet attached on an arm. This was all enclosed within an elaborate brass frame on a rococo style stand.

We also made three smaller globes for use on the set.

The film is due out later this year...

A London artist Chris Cornish commissioned the two globes below. These are particularly difficult to make because the globe cannot be marked in any way prior to applying the print.

Yinka Shonibare MBE commissioned a number of large 80 cm globes to use in installations. The colours on the map represent global warming, and the detail and accuracy of the map are what attracted this well known artist to our work.

Each ball is counter-balanced with weights for the installation, so we had to develop an entirely new way of applying the map gores. They will be in exhibitions world-wide.

In addition a series of six smaller celestial globes were commissioned for other pieces.
