PERANO globes come in two models: the Terrestrial and the Celestial. The two can be purchased as a complementary pair (see price list for details).

Terrestrial Perano

The Terrestrial Perano pays homage to the archetypal globe, perfected throughout history but typified by the world-famous globes produced in Europe in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.

The map holds demographic and political information (borders, country names etcetera) accurate as of 2008. However, it achieves a timeless appearance due to the quality of its lines and the font it utilises.

The globe is available in two hues (one lighter and one darker depending on the number of layers of paint applied), to suit tastes and/or the physical context in which the globe will be placed.

Celestial Perano

The Celestial Perano was launched in 2011 with the aim of presenting an aesthetically exquisite rendition of the history of celestial mythology. It depicts the eighty-eight constellations (and approximately three thousand stars) and their associated mythological figures on a map created by a local London artist.

As with the Terrestrial Perano, the Celestial can be made in a light hue and a darker one, depending on the amount of pigment applied after printing. The darker Celestial Perano more closely mimics the night-time sky.
